PRIMERS

ETCH PRIMERS
A fast drying PVB Based Primer which exhibits excellent etching and corrosion protection properties. Excellent durability and flexibility. For use on Ferrous metals and can also be used as a pretreatment primer for the protection of structural steel during fabrication.

ETCHKOTE PRIMERS
Premium range of fast drying PVB based pretreatment primers. Can be used as a weld-through primer. Excellent adhesion to mild steel and galvanised iron. Temperature resistance up to 200deg C. Resistant to oil spills and splashes. Excellent corrosion protection.

NC PRIMERS

A fast drying, nitrocelluslose based primer which has excellent adhesion to mild steel components.
 

QD PRIMERS
An econimical quick drying primer that can also be used as a temporary corrosion protection primer. Suitable for use on mild steel components such as metal doors and frames, scaffolding, steel tubing etc. Also ideal for priming mild steel prior to topcoating.

WINDOW DIPPING PRIMERS
A quick drying spraying or dipping primer for mild steel components. Suitable for use on mild steel components such as steel windows and door frames. Used as a general purpose primer under alkyd topcoats.
 

QD ZINC PHOSPHATE PRIMER
A premium quality, fast drying, anti-corrosive primer for mild steel. Good filling and flow with good protection against corrosion. Excellent gloss
hold-out when overcoated with alkyd based topcoats. Contains no lead and no harmful chromates. Suitable for use as an anti-corrosive primer for mild steel components. Can also be used as a general purpose primer for steel.

QD ZINC CHROMATE PRIMER (ANTI-CORROSIVE)
A fast drying excellent anti-corrosion primer containing chromates.
Suitable for use on steel components.

AUTOCHEM QD ENAMELS
An economical range of quick-drying enamels with good hiding and good gloss. Suitable for use on steel components such as burglar bars, gates, window frames. Also suitable for use on reconditioned drums, underground mine machinery, scaffolding etc.
 
ROAD AND LINE MARKING PAINT
A single pack solvent-borne coating for the marking of traffic bearing surfaces. Quick drying matt finish. Excellent adhesion, opacity and resistance to bleeding. Good durability and resistant to abrasion. Suitable for the marking of traffic lanes, kerbs, road surfaces, parking garage floors. Suitable for use on concrete and bituminous surfaces. Not suitable for use on friable slurry-type surfaces.
 

DIRECT TO METAL COATINGS
A quick-drying primer and topcoat in one that can be applied directly to mild steel. No additional topcoat needed. Eliminates the need for 2 different products. Reduces production time. Excellent adhesion and opacity. Suitable for use as both a primer and a topcoat with a sheen appearance. Suitable for general industrial applications onto mild steel components.

NC ENAMELS
A quick drying, single pack, nitrocellulose lacquer. Use of lightfast pigments and good hiding power ensure good exterior durability. The high tensile strength of the film, the good gloss and adhesion as well as the extensible durability of the finished coating are added benefits of this product. Suitable for use on metal furniture, kitchen cupboards as well as light fittings and other steel components.

AD (AIR-DRYING) ENAMELS

A premium quality, high gloss air drying industrial enamel. Good exterior durability and very good coverage. Suitable for use on trailers and truck bodies, buses, tractors and earth moving equipment.

POLYURETHANE 9:1
An economical two-pack polyurethane acrylic enamel with good exterior durability and high gloss. Leaves a high gloss, smooth finish that is tough and mar resistant. Exhibits very good chemical resistance with good colour retention and good hiding. Quick-drying and easy to apply. Suitable for use on office furniture, plant and machinery, earth-moving equipment, burglar bars and security gates etc.

RADIATOR BLACK
A quick drying ready for use alkyd enamel. Suitable for coating radiators.

STEELCOAT LACQUERS
A fast drying, twin pack enamel for metal substrates. Offers excellent etching and extremely hard chip resistance. No primer required as the lacquer can be applied directly onto the steel substrate. Suitable for use on ferrous and galvanised metal components.

INTERNAL DRUM LINING
A light gold epoxy based coating for lining the internal part of both reconditioned and new drums. Suitable for use on appropriately cleaned cold-rolled mild steel.

STOVING ENAMELS
A tough, economical coating for metal components. Exhibits excellent adhesion and gloss to most metal substrates. Single pack and easy to use.

CHASSIS BLACK / RUBBERISER
A ready for use bituminous based paint with good water and chemicl resistance. Suitable for use as an underbody paint for rail and lorry chassis. Also siutable to seal water tanks and weather-proof concrete.
